The President's Message - August 2026

Dear ICA Members,

You may have heard the exciting news that the International Colored Gemstone Association has appointed Brandee Dallow as our new Chief Executive Officer. We are delighted to welcome Brandee to ICA and look forward to the experience, energy, and perspective she will bring as we begin this next chapter together.

As the Board of Directors considered the future of ICA, we focused on what has always made this organization special: the people who make up our global community. For more than 40 years, ICA has brought together those who share a passion for colored gemstones and a commitment to advancing our industry.

We are living through a time of significant change, and many of our businesses are navigating uncertainty. These moments remind us of the importance of having a strong association where we can connect, share knowledge, support one another, and work together toward a stronger future.

Brandee joins ICA at an important moment. Her experience in the jewelry industry, her passion for building communities, and her ability to create meaningful relationships align closely with the Board’s vision for an ICA that is engaged, relevant, and valuable to its members.

However, ICA’s future will be shaped by all of us. Brandee’s role will be to listen, learn, and help create opportunities for involvement, but the strength of this organization comes from your participation.

We especially encourage the next generation of our industry to get involved. Your ideas, perspectives, and energy are essential to shaping the future of colored gemstones.
