Message from the CEO - August 2026

Dear ICA Members,

I am honored to join the International Colored Gemstone Association as Chief Executive Officer and incredibly grateful for the warm welcome I have received. To become part of an organization that represents such a remarkable global network of people, united by a deep appreciation for colored gemstones and a commitment to advancing this extraordinary industry, is a privilege of a lifetime.

Throughout my career in the jewelry industry, I have been fortunate to work with extraordinary people across every part of our sector. From the source of a gemstone’s journey to the many hands that shape, celebrate, and share its beauty, I have seen firsthand the knowledge, resilience, creativity, and dedication that define this industry. What makes colored gemstones so special is not only the gems themselves, but the people and stories behind them. That spirit of connection is at the heart of ICA.

As I begin this role, my initial priority is to listen and learn. I look forward to understanding the experiences, challenges, and ideas of our members, and to working together to ensure ICA continues to provide meaningful value to our global community.

The strength of any association comes from the people who contribute to it. Every member has an important role in shaping ICA’s direction through participation, sharing expertise, and engaging with one another. I also believe strongly in creating opportunities for the next generation of our industry to become involved, bringing fresh perspectives, creativity, and leadership to the future of colored gemstones.

I am excited for the journey ahead and look forward to meeting many of you in the months to come. Thank you for the opportunity to serve ICA. Together, we can continue strengthening an association that reflects the knowledge, diversity, and spirit of the global colored gemstone community.
