Richa works in the gem and jewellery industry as an independent writer, journalist, digital storyteller, author of No Stone Unturned: the Hunt for African Gems (commissioned by Gemfields). She has completed several advance level courses from the GIA specialising in coloured gemstones. She has over 11 years of experience in the industry travelling to gemstone mines, manufacturing centres, and writing on the industry for prestigious publications such as Rapaport magazine, Robb Report, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, InColor Magazine, Solitaire International to name a few. Richa is also active in the industry as a moderator, speaker, and has made presentations at the World Emerald Symposium (Colombia), ICA Global Congress, International conference of the Gemmological Institute of Great Britain (Gem-A), CIBJO, Swiss Gemmological Society, Doha Diamond and Gemstone Conference. Her work as a storyteller extends to creating Masterclasses for gem and jewellery brands around the world. She has delivered a plethora of custom knowledge sessions for jewellery companies and associations such as Buccellati, Fabergé, Young President's Organisation (YPO), GIA, Diamond Exchange of Singapore, ZOYA Jewels, Revival Jewels, Asian Institute of Gemmological Studies (AIGS).
