Professional Bio
I engaged in gem and jewellery business since 1976 and dealing semi-precious stones mainly.
I have involved mining project in Brazil (Tourmaline and Amethyst), Namibia (Mandarin Garnet), Zambia (Canary Tourmaline) and Sri Lanka (Corundum) since 1985 till today.
Once I was a member of ICA, Board member from 1999 to 2007 for 2 terms, last 2 years as Treasurer.
I was a chairman of General Incorporated Association Japan Gem Society for 12 years of 6 terms from 2011 to 2023, and still a board member.
I'm an executive board member of Zenkoku Hoseki Oroshisho kyoudo Kumiai since 2005 which is oldest wholesaler cooperative of our industry in Japan.
