ICA President says Congress will facilitate guidance to tackle challenging markets

BRASILIA, BRAZIL - ICA President Damien Cody, in an opening address to the ICA Congress, said the gathering would facilitate meaningful connections and discussions of ways forward to tackle challenging market conditions.

The global colored gemstone industry is presently grappling with challenges due to U.S. tariffs.

“Now is the time to come together to pause and reflect,” Mr Cody said.

The ICA Congress runs until May 22, 2025.
