Professional Bio
I joined my father's company (Lothar Haag in Idar-Oberstein) in 1983 after obtaining a degree as gemstone cutter. I made various trips to the main Emeralds mines in Brasil, Africa and Colombia
to buy rough and cut Emeralds. Our markets are Europe, USA and Asia.
Besides our office in Vienna, I have offices in Los Angeles, New York, and Bogota.
